Clinical Psychology Fees

STANDARD PSYCHOLOGY FEES

If you think you may benefit from mental health support, book a consult with your GP to discuss if you are eligible for a Mental Healthcare Plan (MHCP).

Subject to individual circumstances, patients with a valid MHCP may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Please discuss your eligibility with your GP.

If you do not have a valid MHCP, please refer to the private fees column in the table below.

ADULT ADHD ASSESSMENT FEES

A comprehensive ADHD assessment takes at least 3 sessions to complete with an accredited, clinical psychologist.

PAYMENT TERMS

Double Bay Doctors does not accept cash payments. At the time of booking your appointment, you will be required to supply your credit/debit card details (VISA or Mastercard) to confirm your appointment. A $1.00 card validation payment will be charged to your card and subsequently refunded. The credit/debit card you provide at the time of booking will be charged to settle your account at the conclusion of your consultation. The card will also be charged to settle cancellation fees where you do not provide the required notice for cancelling or changing your appointment, and/or for the payment of outstanding accounts.
 

Please be aware that full payment is required at the conclusion of your consultation. Additional fees may apply to outstanding accounts are not settled within 30 days. Please note that appointments booking is automatically disabled while an account remains outstanding.
 

If your consultation attracts a Medicare rebate, we will process your rebate with Medicare following settlement of your account.

A surcharge of 0.7% applies to Visa/Mastercard Debit Cards, 1.4% for all other credit cards.
A surcharge of 1.4% applies for all automated ecommerce transactions (when you do not physically use your card to pay for your consultation).

No surcharge applies to EFTPOS transactions made using your savings or cheque account in person at the practice.
