Lara completed a double degree Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery in 2012. Over the next few years, Lara worked as both a Midwife, and as a Nurse, covering all areas of maternity and emergency/intensive care, leading her to complete a post-graduate degree in intensive care.

Whilst working in intensive care, Lara continued pursuing her passion working as a Midwife, looking after women throughout their pregnancy, labour and the post-natal period. It was in doing this that she realised there was a lack of feeding support for new mothers. This drove her to undertake further study to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Lara’s aim is to guide women and their families through the journey of pregnancy, post-partum and beyond, by empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions, tailored to meet their individual goals.

Outside of work, Lara is kept busy by her young son, and very mischievous Labrador. She enjoys travelling, catching up with friends and family, and will never turn down a good restaurant recommendation.
