BSc (Advanced) MBBS, M.Phil (Surgery), FRACGP

General Practitioner

Dr Esra Malouf graduated from the University of Sydney three times! Esra completed an advanced degree in science in 2008, a MBBS medical degree in 2011, and a Master of Philosophy (Surgery) in 2012.  Esra became a fellow of the RACGP in 2018.
After years of training in orthopaedic surgery, Esra recognised the importance of a healthy work-life balance and her interest in holistic family medicine was formed.
Esra enjoys practicing women’s health, mental health and antenatal pregnancy care, for which she is accredited with the Royal Hospital for Women.
She is a supportive and empathetic GP, and always has time to listen to her patients. She treats patients holistically and thoroughly, encouraging preventative healthcare. She loves watching babies go from being in the tummy to saying ‘Hi Dr Esra’.
A long time Eastern Suburbs local, Esra loves gardening, pilates, trying new restaurants, reading medical journals and babysitting her nieces and nephews.
