Online bookings are required for all patients

Changing or cancelling your appointment
We have a 3 hour cancellation window for GP appointments, and 48 hour cancellation window for psychology appointments. You can conveniently change and manage your appointments via the AMS Connect App.
Test results notifications
Updates and information on your test results are sent to you via secure SMS
Repeat script and repeat referrals
You can lodge a request online
Extended opening hours
We’re open 7 days a week and open late Monday to Thursday
Telehealth is always available
Same day appointment availability
You can almost always get an appointment within 24 hours
HOW TO BOOK THE RIGHT APPOINTMENT FOR YOU
Our booking system is very clever, but we need to let it know what you need. Selecting the right appointment will ensure your appointment is booked at the right time, with the right practitioners, for the correct duration. Its super important.
6 WEEK CHECKS
Are you a newborn coming for a 6-week check? Just make sure your baby is exactly 6 weeks old or over at the time of this appointment, as unfortunately the vaccines can't be administered prior to this.
We also offer 6-week postnatal checks for mum. If you have not had this check done with your obstetrician, you may also want to book this in. We recommend booking mum's check before bub's in case they are a bit grumpy after their check and vaccinations.
STANDARD APPOINTMENTS
Are you an adult or child coming for a standard appointment?
Depending on what you're coming in for, we have two different types of appointments for new patients:

New patient - 1 issue (15 minutes): best suited to those with a simple concern

New patient - Multiple or Complex Concerns (30 minutes): best suited to those who have multiple things they would like to discuss with their GP, or have a complex medical history.
