James completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney in 2015 and completed his GP training after several years working in acute hospital medicine and critical care, including Emergency, Intensive Care and Anaesthetics at St Vincent’s hospital.
James loves all areas of general practice and has specific interest in the management of metabolic disorders, weight loss, diabetes, complex/chronic care and pain medicine. He gains great professional satisfaction from helping patients achieve their health goals through strong, evidence-based medicine and utilising a collaborative, team-based approach. James is currently undertaking further studies in his specific interest areas including World Obesity Federation SCOPE training as well as the Diploma in Child Health through Sydney Children’s Hospital/Western Sydney University.
James has a wide range of interests, including his ongoing poor efforts to learn the piano, spending time with his mischievous Brussels Griffon, Dolores, making fresh pasta, and enjoying Sunday morning swims at Neilson Park.
