Dr Oliver Smith completed his medical training in Manchester, UK in 1999. After working in several hospitals throughout England, he qualified as a GP in 2005.

Oliver gained a Diploma in Palliative Medicine and spent time working in a hospice, before joining a practice in the Southeast of England. He worked there for 8 years before relocating to Australia with his family.

Whilst working in the UK, Oliver developed an interest in Medical Education. He works as a Senior Lecturer at UNSW, supporting medical students in their training to become Doctors. 

Outside of work, Oliver in passionate about keeping healthy physically and psychologically, understanding the need for a good work-life balance. Oliver enjoys living in the Eastern Suburbs with his family, where he makes the most of the wonderful outdoors at his doorstep.
