GIULIA BRAZZOLI
M. Psyc (Clinical), Post. Grad. Dip (Psychotherapy)
Clinical Psychologist
Giulia Brazzoli is a registered clinical psychologist and has a wide range of experience, having practiced as a psychologist in both Australia and Italy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Personalities and Interpersonal Relationships), a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Postgraduate Specialisation (4 years) in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
Giulia’s style of practice is based on the Constructivist approach, which focuses on how every person has their own personal and unique way of attributing a sense of meaning to their experiences. Through this approach, her patients actively construe the reality they live in, rather than passively observing and being subjected to it.
Giulia enjoys helping her patients to better approach distressing situations, by equipping them with the skills they need to tackle the problem in a more useful and functional way. She strongly believes in working with her patients to tailor their course of therapy based on their specific needs and way of functioning.
Treatment Approaches: Constructivism, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness.
