Dr Cynthia Yang is currently on maternity leave and will return towards the end of 2025.

Dr Cynthia (Xinyi) Yang completed her Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2015, winning the top prize in Dermatology.
 
Cynthia has wide ranging interests and a passion for further professional learning and development. She completed a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) while working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is currently a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney. 
 
After working across different specialties, Cynthia discovered her passion for medicine in the long term connections General Practitioners develop with patients and their families through different stages of life.
 
Cynthia holds the Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology and the Australia National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors. She is also registered to provide Antenatal Shared Care with a range of hospitals: the Royal Hospital for Women, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and St George Hospital.
 
To further support her paediatric interest, Cynthia has completed additional training in child development and paediatric medicine through the Sydney Child Health Program.
 
Cynthia has chosen to settle in Double Bay, where she enjoys raising her young family. Outside of work, you may spot Dr Yang walking around the neighbourhood parks and beaches with her family, at a pilates class, learning tennis or salsa dancing.
