Dr Serena Giga completed her medical degree at Bond University in 2018 and subsequently completed her fellowship in General Practice. Dr Serena has a special interest in women’s, children’s, sexual and reproductive health.

Prior to General Practice, Serena spent multiple years training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is able to provide additional services of Implanon insertion and removal, IUD insertion and removal, PrEP and menopause therapy.

Dr Giga has completed her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG), Certificate of Women's Health (CWH), and the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP). She also has several publications in General Surgery and Women's Health.

Serena strives to provide best patient care by being an active listener and taking a patient-centred approach. She aims to create a comfortable and professional experience for her patients by showing empathy and sensitivity towards her patients' concerns.

In her spare time, Dr Giga enjoys keeping active with gym training, reformer Pilates, and long coastal walks by Sydney’s beautiful beaches.
