Dr Victor Wei graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2011 as a member of the inaugural cohort, and was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.

He has developed a special interest in a trauma-informed approach to mental health, and has undertaken additional training in suicide prevention and psychotherapy.

He is an authorised prescriber of Medicinal Cannabis for various conditions, including mood disorders and chronic pain, and is well placed to integrate pharmacological, psychological and lifestyle strategies in the complex management of mood disorders, substance and process addictions.

Victor is experienced in the management of chronic disease and preventative health, Paediatrics, Occupational Health,  Musculoskeletal/sports injuries and minor procedures/skin excisions, and has interest in the newly-emerging field of long-COVID

In his non-medical life, Victor has represented Australia in Recurve Archery on numerous occasions, and is also a not-so-successful basketballer and saxophonist. Since becoming a dad, you will find him spending time bushwalking with his wife and daughter, meditating or waking up at the crack of dawn to smoke a brisket on his barbecue.
